EdgeX is a decentralized perpetual futures exchange that combines the speed and performance of centralized exchanges with the transparency and self-custody of DeFi. The platform features an off-chain order matching engine with on-chain settlement, enabling high-speed, low-latency trading across a wide range of crypto assets. Due to a ticker collision, Coinbase will use the ticker "EDGEX" for this asset instead of its on-chain or MiCA whitepaper designation "EDGE". This adjustment ensures compatibility with existing assets on our platform and avoids potential conflicts. The change does not affect the underlying asset's functionality or value.
