According to the whitepaper, Bitrue claims to devote time and efforts to XRP. XRP is the native token of Ripple. In 2018, they launched and adopted XRP as the base currency. Further, the network developed the crypto investment model, allowing users to invest and attain XRP. Later, in 2019, Bitrue supported XRP as collateral for crypto loans, and in 2020, Bitrue aims to become one of the top three XRP trading platforms globally.
Bitrue has two financial products; Bitrue Power Piggy and Bitrue Defi. Power piggy offers staking services for a number of cryptocurrencies with the most competitive yields. Bitrue Defi is created for institutional customers and retail users who desire complete control over their assets.
BTR is the native token of Bitrue. BTR token can be utilized to lower trading fees on transactions completed on the Bitrue exchange. The network claims that BTR token ownership offers a higher interest rate in Power Piggy. Also, BTR token entitles the holder to partake in DeFi mining opportunities and receive significant APYs (Annual percentage yield). Apart from this, the holders of BTR possess a voting right and decide on critical decisions about the future of Bitrue exchange.
The total supply of BTR token is 820,407,097 BTR, out of which the network has burned 179,592,903 BTR. Token burning is the process in which the users can remove tokens from circulation, which lowers the number of tokens in use.
