CherrySwap is the automatic market-making protocol focused on OKExChain (OEC). OEC is a public permissionless blockchain that no one completely controls. According to the whitepaper, the platform adopts the mechanism of automatic market maker (AMM). CherrySwap aims to achieve self-driven liquidity creation with diversified functions like liquidity mining, initial farm offering (IFO), NFT (non-fungible tokens), lottery, and DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), to provide participants with the bonus. Liquidity mining is when cryptocurrency holders lend assets to a decentralized exchange (DEX) to gain rewards. Initial farm offering (IFO) helps DeFi (decentralized finance) projects to raise funds via the farming feature provided by decentralized exchanges. In addition, the platform seeks to be a fully autonomous community project.
The CherrySwap (CHE) token is issued by the platform and is the governance token for its Game-Finance (GameFi) CyberCat. CyberCat is a game built on the blockchain commanding users' CyberCat to go on adventures or fight with other players. Users can stake LP (liquidity provider) tokens for the possibility of earning CHE. LP tokens are tokens issued to liquidity providers on a decentralized exchange (DEX) running on an automated market maker (AMM) protocol. In addition, CHE is used in the following scenarios:
Also, when the user makes a token swap (trade) on the exchange, a transaction fee is imposed, out of which a certain amount gets allocated to the liquidity pool in the form of providing liquidity rewards. The remaining amount goes to the public fund's collection (treasury).
The total supply is 210 million CherrySwap (CHE) tokens. The launch of CherrySwap (Beta version) was done in Stage 2 of the project.
