Deeper Network (DPR) is a project based in Silicon Valley that merges blockchain, network security, and sharing economy to establish a global peer-to-peer network. It strives to empower genuine internet users and lay the groundwork for the forthcoming generation of the web. DPR is the native token of the Deeper Network ecosystem, deriving its value from users' utilization of decentralized services and applications on the network, as well as the incentivization of the network's staking and mining rewards. The total supply of DPR is capped at 10 billion, with 60% of that reserved as mining rewards for users of the Deeper Network.

Deeper Network operates through a decentralized private network where DPR tokens may be received and spent via sharing or consuming bandwidth on the network. Each Deeper node serves as a next-generation firewall (NGFW) to prevent network attacks. DPR may be used to purchase Deeper nodes on-demand as a cloud firewall to hide IP addresses and prevent various network attacks. Additionally, DPR may be used for AtomOS updates, threat database updates, and security subscription services. Users may also receive DPR for contributions to network security, such as discovering and reporting malicious behaviors on the network.

Deeper Network has several potential use cases. It may be used for decentralized cyber security services, where DPR may be used to purchase Deeper nodes on-demand as a cloud firewall to prevent various network attacks. Websites may be hosted on the Deeper Network infrastructure without needing to worry about being scanned, blocked, or attacked. In the dAPP ecosystem, third-party developers need to stake a certain amount of DPR tokens to have their dAPPs hosted within the Deeper ecosystem. DPR may also be used to purchase decentralized domain names anonymously on the Deeper Chain, giving domain owners complete ownership over it instead of leasing it through ICANN.

The project is already onto its 6th generation hardware unit called the Deeper Connect, and with over 30,000+ working nodes around the world, it aims to build a more secure, private and fairer internet for everyone.
