MicroBitcoin (MBC) is a decentralized peer-to-peer (P2P) network for the payment protocol of the micro-economy. Microeconomics deals with prices and production in one market and the relations between different markets. According to its whitepaper, MicroBitcoin is also a decentralized blockchain platform planned to serve micro-economy payments. The original MicroBitcoin network is a hard fork of the Bitcoin network, whose core idea is based on its protocol to enable MBC to be transferred between peers in a decentralized method.
In addition, the MicroBitcoin network permits users to choose an appropriate web wallet that lets connection from any device with a browser. Besides these facilities, the network also provides an additional application to authorize easy access from the mobile phone to access the wallet and carry out transactions.
According to the website, the network seeks to solve the problems of performance of the proof-of-work (PoW) algorithm during block validation. Another important aspect of the MicroBitcoin Ecosystem is mining, where miners contribute to the development of a sound protocol for trades. This protocol ensures trades are securely moved between peers, for which miners are rewarded in block rewards and transaction fees.
